Thanks for ALL the words for the last few days....Funny thing, again, they were perfect...It's been a SUPER Busy last couple of weeks...got home last night from my State Conference... Much fun, and lots of awards given for folks all over the State. Our group had the winner of not only the State Award, but turns out, is the National Award winner for Community Service. What a marvelous man he is! He's the one I said a few weeks ago, that I felt privileged to sit next to during the meeting....He and his family came to the US from South Vietnam, traveled over 10,000 miles to get here, started to work doing whatever he could to earn money for his family. Learned English, became a citizen, now has two businesses and has started a non-profit group helping children around the world. His is truly an amazing story of what it means to be a true American. As for me....between chairing my group now, getting ready for meetings and finding committee folks, having the family in and out, with more coming on the 15th for a few days....am finding myself plenty "engaged in life" as they say... It's a good thing though...seeing things from this side of the grass is a Good Thing! Happy Summer, Everyone! KLP - determinedhappysatisfaction
