Actually in the case of the Jehovah's Witnesses I think it does.

Doesn't mean they don't love America.

Loving a country would be like idol worship to them.

I love that too, but I draw the line when people start loading up on fertilizer and they don't even have a garden. Burning the flag, rioting, sit-ins, interfering in the legal rights of others, and gerrymandering the Constitution to diminish the Bill of Rights are not dissent.

The place for dissent to play out is the ballot box. Not on the streets.


One of the things I love about America is tolerance for dissent.
