Sure, factoring in the distributions certainly would bring the black line right up to the area of the red line and with less risk compared to the other investments. Hussmans is a well managed fund. I believe Hussman is extremely well managed. Others here have criticized the hell out of him. I do not think it is easy to manage billions with low volatility and positive above market returns. Some here look at gold miners and have 80% gains or better but you can not manage billions that way with 30% swings in both directions (and expect to still be managing billions) Mish
