Supposedly some other jurisdictions' cops helped out in Fairfax. Still it would seem that there was probably less of a police presence in the areas away from the procession.

I also saw a lot other cops from other locations in the procession.

I've heard an acquaintance of my youngest brother figured the cops wouldn't be around because they where all at the precession, and he robbed a store or a bank or something. He was wrong about cops not being around. He got caught.
