Yes, he was talking about April, 2006 being 52% less than April 2005. What he didn't explicitly point out was:

1. Were April, 2005 sales normal? or was there some event which artificially inflated that number?

2. What was the magnitude of the February - March Channel stuffing? To what extent was the April, 2006 reduction expected?

The 52% statistic is meaningless without any context whatsoever provided.

As often stated, Statistics don't lie, statisticians do.
