Amen!

My tax dollars should go toward defending our nation. And that sure shouldn't take as much as they bleed from me. Anything else should be funded by vote in the states.

The WSJ published an article form a Harvard professor that was arguing for gas rationing. He called rationing Tradable Gas Rights. The theory is that every American would get rights they could then buy or sell. Businesses would get rights based on their historical usage.

We would end up with a ridiculous freezing of this moment in history, and current businesses would get a future income stream from their current usage akin to Al Gore receiving Tobacco money due to an ancient ancestor growing tobacco.
