You have lots of touchy-feely sentiments, but none of them offer actual prescriptions for changing the circumstances.

The Constitution begins We The People because the smart guys who wrote it realize that liberty is actually a group effort and not an individual goal.

A main reason that a majority of the population faces downward mobility is that so many support groups, from family to labor unions, have been broken up.
