Solid, use the 4x4 platform to get the tri core effect without using a disabled quad core processor.

Give me a cheap dual core processor and a fast single core processor on the same motherboard. Sounds good to me...

I concur with Not a Short. Fast single core processor as the first CPU and the cheapest dual core for the second would seem like an ideal situation

The only thing would be that you would have to set CPU affinity of the heavy apps, such as games to the first CPU.
