I still get some private mail asking me about my PM thinking, so rather than repeat each time here it is: I would like to see more of the speculative trade taken out of precious metals. When I sense that happens I will comment more. Also we need to see much more credit spread widening to signal a different trade for gold developing. Finally, the CBs will have to start loosening again, and that's not really happening. Right now I see an unfriendly environment for PMs, and I won't force the issue.
