Watched it happen on the tube.

Me too, watched it live...a huge moment in my life. I sat there all pretty much all night, I don't think I could handle the reality of it all.

I remember JFK's assassination..............it was traumatic !

then the missile crisis in Cuba.....scared as all get-out during that one!

I remember having air raid drills in grade school...............during the height of the Cold War!
