GZ, I am sorry...you are wrong on this one. O'reilly did make the statement about American Troops shooting german troops attempting to surrender. I watched it...and I was amazed, as I had some memory of the event described by Olberman. Even Fox, I believe, tried to set the record straight later. I know the transcript of the show was changed.....I think you are wrong on this one. Bill goofed big time.

Did you *watch the video* at that URL?

It certainly does appear to be Bill O'Reilly saying those words, claiming that 'U.S. forces killed unarmed SS forces who had their hands in the air at Malmédy, Belgium'... which is COMPLETELY INCORRECT.

It is well known that it was the Nazi SS troops who killed unarmed American P.O.W.s at Malmédy, not the other way around.
