Convenient how you forget that most of the damage is to ASPs and those won't come back ever. Intel is still losing its monopoly and that is why the ASPs will never return. The days of $3K server CPUs (Xeons) are long gone. NGA won't help that.

No, if "billions" were lost in the last three months since the benchmarks were public (yeah, Intel was on track to have $2.5+ billion in profits if it weren't for the benchmarks, right?) then HALF billions will eventually come back after Conroe is available.
