You reveal your ignorance with each response. It doesn't matter whether there's a 110,000 yr cycle or a 5000 yr cycle, cuz all that matters at the moment as far as the potential for massive upheaval of civilization is concerned is the next 20-100 yrs. Are you willing to bet your children's lives or your grandchildren's lives that you are right? Even though core ice samples from around the globe indicate that the current warming cycle lies outside any other known pattern, let's say you are right. Do you still want to fight for your right to squander a non-renewable resource by driving an SUV? Does that make any sense? Air pollution is also real, and respiratory diseases are real and health care costs continue to rise. Even if you are right about global warming, ya still wanna let industrial pollution go unchecked right along with your tailpipe emissions? Ya wanna bet your grandkids lives on that as well?
