ASPs are primarily down because Xeon/Pentium/Celeron stink in terms of performance and power consumption compared to Opteron/Athlon 64/Sempron. Convenient how you forgot about that.

Intel is still losing its monopoly and that is why the ASPs will never return.

NEVER?! That is a long time. Can I have that crystal ball to verify that for myself? Are you also predicting AMD's ASPs will never go down as well?

The days of $3K server CPUs (Xeons) are long gone. NGA won't help that.

Yet Intel still has $3000+ prices listed for Tulsa and Montecito.
