So why did Delay hire a trial lawyer hours after his father's accident? Why did he sue a manufacturer? Why also did he unplug his father from life-support when he would go on to say unplugging Terri Schivao was "murder"?

Republicans are just trying to deny citizens the right to sue corporations, which is already very difficult and expensive.

So people who support that deserve what Delay got, a family tragedy brought on by a defective product, then to find out Bushies have made it impossible for them to sue for damages.

As for frivlous lawsuits, the rightwing knows all about those. Whitewater, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaderrick to name three famous GOP frivolous lawsuits.

Did I mention going to the video store and they handed me a ten foot long spool of coupons off of their printer? It seems they had lost a class action suit over late fees and the lawyers took cash and I was receiving some worthless coupons.

Woo Hoo.

Another friend pointed out the solution to the litigation morass. If you had treble damages against litigants in frivolous case that triggered when they lost, fewer people would be willing to risk the loss for the potential gain.
