"I see our expectations are moderating as time goes on. Was it 50+ after the March expiration ? Then 45 after q1 earnings. Then 40 for April. Then 35 for Dell. Now 30."

Yeah, I thought that INTC'd climb back to $25...but alas, not even all the Conroe hyping (i.e. in light of the 25% of mix in Q4) has been able to keep INTC from dropping into new 52-week low terrain...Unfortunately, it seems INTC has taken everything else with it ;-)

"Since you like to extrapolate trends, I expect you'll be looking wistfully at 25's in July."

Well, I guess if INTC breaks thru $15, then $25 for AMD pre-Q2 earnings may be possible. (As mentioned recently, once AMD broke $30, technicals would fall apart, raising the spectre of a quick trip to $25 as a very real possibility...Well, we've seen the precipitous drop once thru $30...Just need to find a bottom, hopefully before $25, despite the weak technicals.)

No matter though as AMD Q2 financials are likely to be so much stronger than INTC's, that we just may get that bounce back to $35.
