Having grown up in Texas, and having family and friends there - let me tell you there is a lot of opposition to Bush there. Not as much as California or NY, but it's there, always has been, and is growing. Fighting attackers is one thing - going out to attack and kill those that never hurt us is something else - and I believe is opposed now by most in Texas.

Bush news management and timing?? AIRSTRIKE KILLS AL-ZARQAWI Isn't it interesting when Bush gets all this bad press about military killings of civilians etc. that they manage to kill one of the top on their list? My guess - they could do this anytime they wanted, but they manage these things and bring out one of them when it helps them, when they are really down in the news. Maybe they kill Bin Laden November 2006 to help them in the elections? Or save him for later??
