It's like professional baseball, exempt from the anti-trust laws because it's the national past time. Which it isn't anymore.

Good point. I generally refuse to go to Baseball games anymore (they only way someone can convince to watch one, since they're boring as hell via TV).

Used to go to Minor League games. However, as you probably know, the Bay Sox games have also gotten to be a bit pricey (and the beers even pricier)..

We spend it on other things and rack it all up and intragovernmental debt.

So it's an additional tax, above and beyond all the other taxes we pay, right?? And on top of that, it's debt.. Debt that has to be paid back by future generations? Why not permit taxpayers the right to use that excess to be invested in a private IRA?

At least you don't believe in a SS "lock box"... Because it sounds like you understand there was NEVER such a beast despite the BLATANT LIE that was foisted upon the American public by your fellow liberals.
