What's going on here?

Kumar has turned into a "TROLL".....IMO

The only way to deal with trolls is to limit your reaction to reminding others not to respond to trolls.
When you try to reason with a troll, he wins. When you insult a troll, he wins. When you scream at a troll, he wins. The only thing that trolls can't handle is being ignored.

Thats my opinion, and your entitled to it..

Sorry, I thought you were talking about why women wear the burka, veil or chador, as well as terrorists.

I assumed you weren't arguing that wearing these garments is solely in response to terrorism. It's sometimes cultural, sometimes volitional, sometimes not. Not necessarily required by Islam but many think so.

Similarly, cliteridectomy is cultural -- sometimes volitional, sometimes not, although at the age it is done the girls aren't really old enough to consent, just obey or conform. Not necessarily required by Islam but many think so.

(Not that I equate the seriousness of cliteridectomy with wearing chador, veil or burka.)

As a woman who has discussed these issues with Muslim women and other women who married Muslim men, I was just giving that perspective.

Historically, not that many years ago Christian women in some European countries covered their heads at all times (well, several hundred years ago.) Just to give some perspective.
