Smearvets are 100% liars. Just a Bush-Rove-Delay hoax.
same as the smear campaign against McCain but bigger and financed with 30 million in corporate rightwing money from Tom DElay's slush funders.

Every claim they made was pure intentional libel, slander, misrepresentation and fabrication. 98% of the smearvets never met Kerry in their life. So who cares what they have to say? They weren't there. And the 2% don't include a single one who served on his boat. So they don't count either. John O'Neill never even met Kerry in Nam. He was hired my Nixon's dirty tricks chief Colson to go after Kerry. O'Neill's whole argument was that the Vietnam war was righteous and nobody ever did anything wrong. He's totally full of crap.

The only guy who has an up-close eyewitness account is that doctor who said Kerry's wound was minor. But Kerry's photo shows it was not treated with a bandaid but a large bandage, so the doctor exaggerated. And so what? Kerry never said it was a major wound. In fact it was the same type wound Dole got a Purple Heart for. Kerry never lied once about anything and richly deserved every medal he got.

If you want to try and find a smearvet claim which was true, knock yourself out. I will rip your argument to shreds in ten seconds though if you try, using facts, Navy records, photographs and the closest eyewitness accounts.
