"Master of the Options Universe: ADI" That's what BUSINESS WEEK called ADI in an article last week examing company option practices. "Not only has it used each and every trick in the book, its profits have gotten a bigger boost from several controversial techniques than all but a handfull of companies", the magazine wrote. An ADI spokeswoman defended the practices. In a settlement with the SEC, ADI has paid $3M and reprice some options, and CEO J. Fishman was fined $1M as well, but the deal was never finalized . In May, the US Attorney also began probing the same issues.
