Bushies made fun of Cleland's triple amputation and lied claiming he blew himself up and was "no hero and a coward". You can see the lies in the posts in "Free" Republic (as if those Nazis have anything to do with freedom). Rove controls it all working for Bush. Coulter, Malkin, Bozell, Ted Sampley, Hannity, Limbaugh, smearvets, etc. all guilty of being part of the smear campaigns against all war heros who happen to oppose Bush politically. No lie is too obscene and ugly for them. But notice each smear campaign has the same central message: NO HERO (even though they all won Silver Stars in combat) COWARD HELPED THE ENEMY LIED ABOUT THEIR MEDALS And not a single smearvet or Bushie attack dog claim was true about any of those heros.
