Well that's different than this innate desire to return to some ancestral homeland. That's just saying Jews wanted to go somewhere/anywhere. And it makes sense in 1945 that they wanted to live somewhere together considering what happened, but it does seem pretty unfair that German atrocity results in Palestinians getting displaced. I still think that even in 1945 a lot of trouble could have been avoided by just granting all Jews US citizenship, and encouraging them to congregate in New Jersey, or Texas, or actually wherever they want.

It's like Tibetans being upset with the Chinese, so they decide to take over half of Iceland!
