We all celebrate Zarqawi's death. So now Bush has an excuse to say "we won" and to start getting our troops out of that hellhole. Killing Zarqawi was very important, but there are no more Zarqawi's over there. In fact I think he's the only one we can even ID who's clearly an enemy. Putting our troops into situations where they don't know who the enemy is is a recipe for disaster, as has been proven there.

Re: "On the other hand, I couldn't claim to have any joy over it (Zarqawi's death)."

Oh, come on, not any? Not just a little bit? That's all I failed to see in Orca's post. I didn't see the barest hint of gladness anywhere. Hope and Joy kinda go hand in hand at times. It might be human and decent of anyone to feel something at least briefly teetering around the edges of "joy," upon hearing of Zarqawi's death. One might reasonably feel for a moment like shouting "yes," and a bit like high-fiving somebody; I'm sure a few of our troops whom we all support do, along with tons of Iraqis.
