Well, there you go. Silly twits. So why do you care if they approve or not?

Abstention absolutely does not indicate approval. Sorry. We twisted arms to get those abstentions, and we knew better than to ask again.
A week before we went in, Annan said if we did so without an explicit resolution we would violate the charter. The UK tried but there was no way they were going to get it passed.

But hey, if you feel better having that approval, take it.
Personally, I would find it pretty meaningless, since my respect for the UN is somewhere under a rock.
