Will Vargas has nothing but good memories from his time at Coleman Middle School. But just before summer break, the graduating eighth grader found out one of his P.E. coaches and a Spanish teacher at the school would no longer be teaching there.

Will Vargas, Coleman Middle School Student: “I feel sorry for them because they were both very nice teachers.” It turns out the two were a little too friendly, according to investigators, having sex inside a classroom during the middle of the school day. A report released by the Hillsborough County School District, reveals 29-year-old Bryant Wilburn and 30-year-old Francis Sepulveda initially denied the allegations, but eventually changed their story when administrators started asking questions.

Stephen Hegarty, Hillsborough Co. Pubic Schools Spokesman: “They did admit that was what happened. They admitted it happened on more than one occasion. It was twice, which just shows incredibly bad judgment.” According to the report two sixth graders witnessed the incident while waiting outside a locked classroom. The teachers allegedly used paper to cover up the window, but it was torn allowing students to see inside. One child told the principal she saw Ms. Sepulveda with her pants down, with Mr. Wilburn standing behind her.

Joe Lazzara, Concerned Parent: “That's intolerable. Have some decency morals, Take it to you home take it somewhere else but not over here.” Gerri Pennachio, Upset Over Incident: “There's a place for everything. They are in a school, and that's not the example they should be setting for the young children.” The two teachers were popular among students, but even the middle schoolers believe a mistake was made.
