That must be why the financials are so strong. They've barely budged during the recent selloff.

I'm afraid the stage is set for another speculative buying frenzy.

Zirp is intact, the Fed is one and done, there are no earnings reports to disappoint, retail sales are fine, unemployment claims are still low, and the bulls are eager to double their bets to make back their recent losses.

Technically this appears to be a bullish hammer day with a vix spike and all weak longs shaken out.

I disagree on cause and effect.
The economy is slowing 100% without a doubt, housing is tanking and the last job numbers were piss pooor yet you attribute strength to FCB's. Aren't you overlooking several strong factors.
