Moved to Toronto for a few years at around age 7-8 or so and still was able to walk the streets alone and unharmed.

Maybe there is such a thing as the good old days. ah well gone now.

The difference is that today we know of every kidnapped child in North America, and because of the news industry we hear it every hour on the hour.... I mean Toronto police were chasing down a man molesting a child at disneyland....
