Yes, I question the networks for saying Zarqawi cut off Berg's head. Though Zarqawi was definitely evil and a very dangerous terrorist who killed hundreds of others, that video had all kinds of phony aspects to it. If you compare the video of Zarqawi taken recently to the video of the Berg be-heading, it looks like a totally different crew.

That said, we can expect such black ops tricks, but the bottomline is, we're glad Zarqawi is dead, and this more than anything anyone could do is the perfect excuse for Bush to declare "victory" and start pulling our troops out. Even Nixon saw the wisdom of pulling out of a quagmire, but so far Bush has not. Actually it would be the smart thing for Bush to do, but I fear he doesn't have a peace-making bone in his body. Just pure chickenhawk.
