I think the vast majority of Iraqis are just happy that the leader of one of the groups of foreign troublemakers is dead. They'd probably be equally enthused if someone took out Rummy.

Probably most of Zarqarwi's "followers" are malleble Muslim youths in other Muslim countries. From what I understand, they follow news from Iraq as if it were a sport.
