WH PRESS CORPS: SOURPUSSES

Dumbest question from the WH press briefing:

Will the Zarqawi success help the President on immigration?

Snow's response (with admirable restraint, but detectable contempt): "I don't know."

The second stupidest line of questioning attacked the President for his somber tone at his morning announcement.

If he's too jubilant, he's a cowboy. If he's too subdued, he's being phony.

Another reporter raised suspicions about why the White House waited too long to make its announcement (someone wants to relive Cheney's shooting incident).

Zarqawi is dead. Bush Derangement Syndrome lives on.
