kumar, I watched a show on the "Discovery Channel" last night about the origin of man, titled Walking with the Cave Men. Learned that your DNA is 94.6% the same as A CHIMPANZEE? So you dont get angry, SO IS MINE. haha.
Anyhow, your identity CAN be traced through samples of close relatives. jdn

most of it is, but certain parts are exactly the same as your father's, while other parts are exactly the same as your mother's (mitrocondrial). That's how they can trace lines of descent by watching for random mutations in lines that are passed down unchanged.
