Dear CF: Still it is available for socket AM2. That means it can go in desktops, especially those silent ones some people seem to want. Where was your complaints about Intel when they used Yonahs in similar setups? A big problem for the Pentium 805 is the screaming "jet turbine" fan they need to cool it. Pete
