Canadians get iTunes on the cheap

According to the article linked below, Brits pay 79 pence (about US$1.50), not 99. Can anyone confirm the current rates? Not easy to find at apple.com.

Even better, Canadians pay CN$0.99 = US$0.83. Now where can I get some Canadian iTune gift cards? Or do I simply apply the US cards on the Canadian site and they'll automatically credit the extra 16% in CN$? :-)

Because the Canadian store requires a local billing address, Americans will have to get a home in Saskatoon or Thunder Bay to get in on the lower pricing.

Any Canadians out there want to share their home with all the international users who want to try this? (especially those Brits who are paying double)
