Bush used Zarqawi to prolong the war, and now listen to him, telling us Zarqawi's death makes no difference. Maybe he's right (though we hope not) but look who's to blame. Bush seems to be actively working to prolong and widen the war instead of working toward peace, and one has to suspect it has a lot to do with the tens of billions his cronies are making/looting, the war premium on oil/gas prices and the fact he uses "war" as his excuse for his many gross abuses of power.

"War President" Bush and "Jihadist Hero" Zarqawi helped create each other. Now one is dead. What will the other one do? We shall see. But keep putting pressure on the rightwing to fess up, get real and bring our guys home. Our troops desperately want to come home from this senseless quagmire. This would be a great opportunity, but Bush isn't going to use it.
