If Intel cut prices more in Q2 than AMD, shouldn't they expect to gain share?

The vendors must have a heads up on the price slashing. My guess is that they want to shrink the netburst inventory as much as possible because they don't want an inventory that will become devalued.

You're not going to keep buying widgets for $20 and build/sustain your inventory if you know in a months time you can get them for $10.

What do you do with all that extra cash if you're not buying Intel CPUs now? Buy AMD or wait on NGMA.
