Crimson > One of the big benefits to Israel of the US invasion of Iraq is that its continued almost daily murders of Palestinians seem less significant because of the much bigger slaughter in Iraq

Unless Iraq breaks up into small separate states, I doubt Israel obtains much benefit from the carnage there. Of course, in the beginning, the invasion of Iraq was part of the neocon PNAC plan but I would say that even they can't be too happy with the way things have turned out there. Truth is it's just a bloody mess -- with the US in the middle.

> The Zionist regime obviously is aiming to liquidate any and all Palestinian leaders who dare defy their plans to colonize most of the rest of Palestine

I agree with the first part about killing Palestinian leaders who defy them but I don't agree with the second part. I think Olmert would be happy just to keep East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, the area of the West Bank between the Green Line and the "wall" and the major settlements. I would say the old idea of "greater Israel" has been put to rest. In fact, they don't have enough people to colonize any more than they have. But I can't say whether the right-wing fanatics who are determined to occupy all of "Biblical" Israel would accept this solution.

No doubt. Today state terrorists killed even kids who were out in a picnic in Gaza. But you don't see them as terrorism thanks to zionist controlled media.

One of the big benefits to Israel of the US invasion of Iraq is that its continued almost daily murders of Palestinians seem less significant because of the much bigger slaughter in Iraq. The Zionist regime obviously is aiming to liquidate any and all Palestinian leaders who dare defy their plans to colonize most of the rest of Palestine. And they do not care how many women and children they have to kill in the process.

This campaign of murder (generally without Palestinian provocation) has been going on so long that it now is accepted as the norm. Which indeed it is.

Crimson > they do not care how many women and children they have to kill in the process.

And the killings paid off -- HAMAS calls off the truce which means the "Peace Process" is in the dustbin. Israel can make it a public holiday since HAMAS can now be blamed for something which Israel wanted all along.

breitbart.com

>>Hamas militants called off a truce with Israel on Friday after a barrage of Israeli artillery shells tore into Palestinians at a beachside picnic in the Gaza Strip, killing seven civilians.

The declaration raised the prospect of a new wave of bloodshed. Hamas militants suspended a campaign of deadly suicide attacks on Israelis with a February 2005 cease-fire, and have largely stuck to the truce.<<
