The NY Times photo proves Kerry's third wound was no "scratch". It required a heavy bandage 4 days after combat. So it was bigger than Bob Dole's small shrapnel arm wound. he also received a Purple Heart, but for a smaller wound. Your lies are totally exposed, bushie bun boy.

Navy rule in 1969 was three wounds (no matter what type) and you're gone.

"The policy in question, the impenetrably-named BUPERS Instruction 1300.39, is no longer in place. During Vietnam, it mandated that any soldier "wounded three times, regardless of the nature of the wound or treatment required" should be "reassigned as having completed a full Vietnam tour with the hospital release date considered the tour completion date."

Kerry performed well beyond the call of duty, fairly won the Silver and Bronze Star and made a big difference. He earned his way home, with shrapnel in his thigh which remains there to this day btw. Shame on you for slandering our war heros.
