These Zionist attacks on essentially defenseless Palestinians have been going on for so long that it it has become the new norm.

Note that no nation except Iran has condemned these attacks outright. Instead the the so-called "civilized" countries are calling on both sides to show "restraint."

I wonder what their response would be if the Palestinians were killing Zionists on a daily basis.

To ask the question is to answer it.

Gus > let's assume that Hamas is removed from power, what next? In all likelihood, Iraq-style domestic strife would ensue.

Exactly. No wonder USrael is doing all it can to promote a civil war between HAMAS and FATAH for which, of course, HAMAS is blamed.

What a pleasure! Imagine Al-CIA-da in Palestine -- Zarqawi can be "resurrected" for the umpteenth time -- or maybe Osama, himself.
