Thread, re: Change in moderator role implemented. As you might have seen yesterday afternoon the moderator role was changed over to me. I think I speak for most here when I take this opportunity to thank Mani big time for the exemplary way he fulfilled this role before me!! About sharing the moderator role: Admin Dave explained me that this isn't technically possible yet. Consequently Mani proposed on this board to hand the role over to me (and not both CJ and me like I originally proposed) and this change got implemented yesterday. After further discussion with Dave he volunteered to put this feature of sharing the role of moderator on his list of potential upgrade candidates. He also agreed to change the moderator role temporarily when I'm absent for a bit longer period. I've discussed all this with CJ, and I'm grateful that he agreed to back me up during my summer vacation this year. On the board rules: I like the rules as they were laid down previously. Consequently I'm not going to change them in any material way (if at all that is). I will however do my best to enforce them. Related to this, it is one of my current ideas to initiate a debate about how some of the more subtle rules - like being courteous - should be implemented. I'll do that within the next two weeks, after I settle in a bit. Change in original post: I've changed the last paragraph of the original post because it contained Mani's email address. Regards, Rink
