From what I have read here and other places the dollar and gold were stable during the 19th century,inflation was virtually nonexistant.A twenty dollar gold piece was one ounce at the time of the feds inception (1913).Most people seem to believe the dollar has lost 95% of it's value since then,that would make gold 20x the value ie,400 dollars no? Please explain.
