Try one of the australian or asian customer service numbers listed on the below link:

interactivebrokers.com

I've used them in the evening after the north american so-called customer help desk is closed.

Don't know about now, tho--they are a day ahead, so they might be open tomorrow, as it will be monday for them.

YY, I moved an Ira to IB, I too have found the patform difficult but am getting to know it better... I use it to place orders but not to watch markets.

IB fills on IB are excellent, a daytrader friend pays $1 per trade, she has been trading IB for years with good success. When I place an order on the Trader Workstation 4 it sets up as a limit which I like and usually all fill.

If you want some help, send me you phone to centuryadvisors2000@yahoo.com or Instant Message me centuryadvisors2000 on yhoo.

I have accounts with Scottrade and OptionsXpress, Scottrade is good as well for fills, OpXp is bad... I once waited 2 minutes for a Market Order to fill, I think there are humans involved where IB has the "SMART" fill aspect that works well.

Take care
jim
