Truthseeker, thanks for the note. I appreciate it. It's particularly meaningful because, like you, I have been attacked and implicitly threatened, because of posts wherein I express my opinion. Lately, I've been the target of someone sanctioned by the NASD, an embarrassed former message board resident, and I've been labelled a "promoter" as that term is used in stock discussion, merely for posting on a message board favorably or for posting on a message board in support of another poster or posters.

I constantly post about the risks of penny stocks in general and in the larger world of microcaps. I constantly get thanks from many who I have tried to educate to diversify and to be patient in buying and selling. Take posts with a grain of salt. Above all, DO YOUR OWN DD AND DEVELOP YOUR OWN TRADING STYLE. Nobody knows what is best for your portfolio, your wealth, your family, you market-ego, but you and we all are different with varying wealth, patience and background.

However, posting favorably about a stock does not make one a paid "promoter" as that term is used in stock discussion, just as your posts do not make you a paid basher.

In my posts about NSS, where you often disagree, I do not defend scammy companies' use of this issue. As I often say, "there is plenty of scamming to go around on all sides. Where there is opportunity to scam, scammers will take it, long, short, irrespective of trading style."

Most who follow me, know that I trade perhaps 50-100 stocks and I have done exceedingly well but only with a combination of diversification, DD, and patience. A gain or a loss on one particular stock does relatively little to my own portfolio. One of my stated rules for years here is that when a stock grows disporportionately high for my portfolio, I sell at least part of my position. It's the "sleep at night" rule. For that reason, I have no reason to "promote" a stock.

You and I have often disagreed with respect to a stock or a topic. But that doesn't mean that we can't have, as you just posted, mutual respect as we, with our posts, in essence protect the rights of others to give their opinions, free from threats and lies.

Just as your own words have been twisted, so have mine. As your words have been taken out of context, so have mine. I know that you have posted that you take no position in the stocks about which you post. That is admirable. Yet, it hasn't stopped others from claiming that you are paid or from threatening you.

In the end, the "truth" wins out. Those who hide in shadows or blogs often expose themselves, despite being shunned in legitimate avenues of discourse. When the curtain is lifted, the little old man behind it is discovered to be anything but the Wizard, but merely a little old man bottom crawling in his hole and begging for his dignity.

Thanks again.
