Sunday's Meet The Press Guest List

msnbc.msn.com

A big week in Iraq: How will the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi affect the war and the U.S. effort to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people? And will the insurgents' struggle to fill the leadership vacuum created by al-Zarqawi's death lead to more violence? We will ask Gen. Barry McCaffrey (Ret)., United States Army, an NBC Military Analyst, on this Sunday's "Meet the Press with Tim Russert."

Then, we turn to politics to interview the man with one of the world's most widely read political weblogs, Markos Moulitsas, the founder and editor of DailyKos.com. He is hosting the first "YearlyKos" convention this weekend in Las Vegas where key Democrats such as Senator Minority Leader Harry Reid and DNC Chair Howard Dean will be speaking.

He will be joined on the "Meet the Press Roundtable" by Newsweek Magazine's Jonathan Alter, The Cook Political Report's Amy Walter, and the National Review's Byron York. They'll share their insights and analysis on the week in politics & primaries, and on the upcoming elections.

All coming up on "Meet the Press" -- at a special time before the French Open on NBC.

Tim Russert is moderator of "Meet the Press." Betsy Fischer is the executive producer. Michelle Jaconi and Rebecca Samuels are producers.
