This is a good piece up until the writer gets to a post mortem of why Kerry lost. I think Kerry did not loose of what the party did. he lost because of how he ran his campaign. I think the Democratic leadership needs to address just three burning issues in their platform. There are many who feel that this nation is polarized very dangerously. And the Dems need to address that. They need to tell the American people how they will take this nation away from the politics of division and move us to the center.
