Buddy, Yeah, some of those things may never go away during our lifetimes. Rap will probably be around until the 85% of young black males lose enough money to stop trying to be "producers".
Most of them get a little bit of recording equipment, set it up in garage, or basement, and begin to brag that they are music producers. They may never get a CD sold, but they is still producers while their wives and children go hungry.

What they call "country music" now, is just a version of rock and roll. I miss the good old country music but with Johnny Cash gone now, that no longer exists. I even miss the old cowboy songs, but they have been gone for a long time.
