Agreed on all of that. But there are various shows...not just "only news" shows. Greta has the scandal, or murder of the week, so I usually don't have her on. Brit's show isn't usually interrupted by Alerts....unless they are really important. The morning show Friends (early AM), and Dayside at 10 are silly, so they are only on if I forgot to turn them off. Shep Smith has a commentary show. So do Hannity and Colmes. I like both Hannity and Colmes, as Colmes is a thoughtful Dem....don't often agree with him, but he is civilized, where so many current visible Dems are not (Gore, Dean, Pelosi, etc etc)

We used to watch the Today show every morning. When Katie and Matt became so openly anti-Bush, we quit watching.
