You mention IWA marcos and so did Charters, but I thought awhile back IWA misread some drilling? I have always avoided IWA just becasue I remember reading some negative stuff about it?

Yea I never owned AUA either (similiar feeling)for moly. I have UNB, ROK, and RMKL for moly.

I have to say by Friday's action BWT wts (.21 in the money and almost 3 years -stock $1.21 strike $1.00 wts .60)or BWR and UC are worth a look. KXL was smoking. This KXL could be a real sleeper.

Onepath picks good stocks and he likes DIB and GGC and MMGG.

ABI zinc/silver moved up .07. And FAN (zinc/sivlr moved up on good volume.

That Wolfden looked real good. Lots of good ones.

Small volume.

Zinc may be the safest play out there and by coupling it with silver like ABI, EXN and GGC, MMGG, wolfden might ultimately be the way to go. RDV .35 is a zinc play with 7 million tons of 6% zinc, silver, gold and lead.

FWIW.

>>"..don't want them when things are sliding off, or even slowing down for a breather".

Perhaps even in these circumstances warrants are more desirable than common stock.

Why should one be dismayed when warrants expire "out-of-the-money"? After all, they simply gave you the right to buy the stock at the strike price. If they expire worthless, it is only because one can now buy the stock for LESS than the strike price.

I see warrants in a portfolio as equivalent to a convertible debenture, where you have to surrender the debenture (a % of a diversified portfolio) to acquire the stock, and in the meantime the debenture (or % of the portfolio) is earning a return.

(Of course, like everyone else, I overload in warrants seeking extra leverage. But that's my fault !)

Marcos

That was then, this is now.

The leader of the BC NDP just gave a invited address at the annual meeting of whatever the provincial mining industry association is called and received a very positive response.

The Liberal/Socred coalition is moving left while the NDP moves right. Presumably they will meet in the middle...
