Agree that Bernanke has become the scapegoat. Participants should be careful though - if the Fed believes there is no way to please the market, they may very well stop trying to. Disaffection may isolate the Fed and cause them to dig in their heels further.

Perhaps Bush should look in the mirror and his buddies Snow and Greenspan to see who contributed the most to the mess we are in.
