"Al Gore invented global warming, just like the internet."

You've dimwittedly stumbled onto the truth, since he never really did claim the latter. Just a right wingnut lie/smear job.

The #1 priority issue is to get OFF OIL and other polluting fuels over the next two decades. We can start by getting off the need for Arab oil, then continue on and on.

One of the big Bushie lies is that cutting pollution costs jobs and hurts the economy. Just the opposite is true, especially over the long term. Maybe it hurts the pollutors, but they can adapt, and why should we care about those bastards anyway?

Conservatives like to point to market forces in a free enterprise economy. Fine, then look at the free forces of gas gougers, the free forces of Toyota and Honda kicking GM's butt, the free forces of oil cronies like Bush-Cheney starting wars in the Middle East and the funding of terrorist groups from the very same dollars we spend at the pump.

Global warming and pollution in general is also a huge issue. Just because we don't see immediate clear evidence doesn't mean we can't see it, feel it and smell it catching up to us. THose who deny global warming is man-made are probably parroting the propaganda big oil and polluters have spent millions putting out, and shameful to see their lobbyists on Fox News as if they have anything to do with truth or news.

The most important thing to do now is to get rid of the pollution-loving rightwing congress, then the two oilmen in the White House. They have been holding us back from any progress. In fact, they have taken us backwards.
